Fitness Myth #1

No PAIN, NO gain: Exercise doesn't need to hurt to be good for you. In fact, if it does hurt you are probably doing something wrong. Some soreness is natural when you first start an exercise program, although if the pain persists then you are working your muscles too hard.

Try not to do too much too soon and give your muscles time to adapt, so you don't cause future injury. " If the pain doesn't go away in more than a few days make sure you contact your doctor so that you don't make the injury an worse".

Patience!
