You also don't need to go to a gym to get a great workout from a hula hoop. You can enjoy it at home, beach, park or where ever there is open space. Me and my nieces use to hula together all the time and had a blast. It gets the blood flowing, but it does feel a little silly at first because it takes some coordination to get started but in time it becomes very easy and effortless.
