There is a plethora of jokes about her being deaf, dumb and blind. On the contrary, she was far from dumb, actually a superb writer and poet. She was definitely a divine influence and role model to me. There is nothing that we can't do if we put our minds to it and never give up on ourselves or our dreams. Helen Keller was living proof of that.
