- consult with your doctor before starting an exercise program.
- pace yourself (listen to your body).
- warm up before your workout.
- cool down after your workout.
- exercise at least 3x's a week.
- stay hydrated.
- push yourself too quickly.
- ignore pains, pallor, or dizziness.
- wear too tight clothing that stops circulation.
- not eat too long before a workout.
- do the same exercises day after day (mix it up and work different muscles).
- not breathe (breathing properly is very important to get oxygen to the muscles).
