"Me" Time


Between work, family and friends it seems like we can never find the time to just relax and take some time for ourselves. We are so caught up in the everyday grind and putting others first. So today I wanted for all of us to remember that it's important to set aside some personal time for ourselves to prevent getting burnt out and then be of no use to anyone.

Here are a few things we can do to relax and refuel!
  • Read in a coffee shop
  • Rent a couple of your favorite movies and veg on the couch
  • Take an aromatherapy bath (bubbles optional!)
  • Cook a nice meal for yourself
  • Go to the park (bring lunch, book, Ipod or feed the birds)
  • Go window shopping (buy something nice for yourself)
  • Go for a ride to the beach or country and take pictures
  • Get a massage, manicure or pedicure
  • Have a glass of wine by candlelight and play some soothing music
And remember "You are worth it"!
