Desk Jockeys



Treadmill desks? Ok now this is a great idea. The treadmill desk allows you to stand up and walk without even leaving your desk. With this innovative creation you can get up, stretch your legs and walk whenever you like and never lose a second of productivity.

Mayo Clinic researchers estimate that overweight office workers who replace their sitting computer time with walking computer time by two to three hours a day could lose 44 to 66 pounds in a year. You don't even have to walk fast, you can walk at about 2 miles an hour. However, the faster you walk the more calories you will burn.

So co-workers what do you say should we ask our bosses if we can join the movement? We would take less sick days because we would be healthier, stronger adults, and more productive because we wouldn't leave our desks as much to stretch. I think that's a win win for everyone on all accounts.
