Health Benefits Galore - "Omega-3's"


What are omega-3's? They are natural fatty acids that are only found in certain foods such as tuna, salmon, rainbow trout, sardines, Atlantic mackerel, herring, brussel sprouts, walnuts, flax seeds, eggs and a few others. Research indicates that omega-3s may be better absorbed from food than supplements.

What conditions or symptoms indicate a need for more high omega-3 foods?

  • Depression
  • Cardiovascular Disease
  • Type 2 Diabetes
  • Fatigue
  • Dry, itchy skin
  • Brittle hair and nails
  • Inability to concentrate
  • Joint pain
