A For Avocado!

Avocado's are a wonderful power snack. They have monounsaturated fats (the good fat) which speeds up the basal metabolic rate. It's high fat content gives a quicker feeling of fullness which helps reduce overeating. Avocado's are also rich in vitamins and minerals..
For a long time I didn't buy avocado's because I had no idea how to cut them, it always looked so complicated - LOL. Well I did go out of my comfort zone and went for it and it was a little messy the first time but the second went smashingly. However, for you newcomers to avocado's I will save you the trouble with this gem of a video on the proper way to cut open one. Wish I had watched this first! :)
